Christopher Round is a third-degree black belt in Judo under Jimmy Pedro and a purple belt in BJJ under Dr. Rhadi Ferguson. At the age of twelve, Chris started training with Olympic Judo coach Jimmy Pedro and advanced to becoming an Olympic hopeful in 2012. Throughout his Judo career, Chris has trained extensively with Kayla Harrison, Travis Stevens, Nick Delpopolo, and other members of the U.S. Olympic Judo team.
In this episode, we do a bit of a breakdown of the 2016 Olympic Judo matches and analyze certain strategies that proved to be successful. Additionally, Chris shares his knowledge concerning high level gripping, Judo training, and other factors that make the American Olympic team successful.
