Miha Perhavec is a Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu Brown Belt under Darragh O Conaill. Originally, Miha comes from Slovenia and he's previously trained Judo at the highest levels in his home country. Recently, Miha won a match on the Polaris 4 undercard, utilizing his powerful heel hook technical mastery. This very weekend, Miha also dominated the Subover80 invitational tournament, winning all 4 matches by heel hook.
Miha has lived an exciting life that encapsulates the journey shared by many trying to make a name in Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu. At times, Miha lived in a dojo, worked jobs to just get by while training full time, traveled all over the world to compete, and had some wars in both small and larger tournaments. If you're someone who wants to compete full-time in Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu, Miha is an outstanding role model who exemplifies the mental toughness needed to succeed.
Many folks in the BJJ community might know Miha as the marketing and technical genius behind Yoga for BJJ. Miha helps run this service with the one and-only Sebastian Brosche from Frontline in Oslo, Norway. I talk about this website on the show all the time and it was awesome to have Miha on the show to hear about his journey.
